DESCRIPTION:Understanding how intermodal transport is planned\, implemented\, and experienced in practice is key to strengthening the resilience and efficiency of European logistics networks. In this context\, ReMuNet contributes to a joint webinar centred on the Intermodal Transport Survey\, highlighting its objectives\, structure\, and early insights\, while inviting stakeholders to engage with its findings and future development. \nThe session will position the survey within the broader European policy and innovation landscape\, including upcoming funding opportunities and reflections on resilience and intermodality from a network and Physical Internet perspective. ReMuNet\, alongside the SARIL project\, will present key results and innovations\, demonstrating how survey findings connect to ongoing research and initiatives under the ALICE Resilient Transport Network Programme and upcoming activities at TRA 2026. \nAt the core of the webinar\, the Intermodal Transport Survey will be explored in detail\, followed by reflections on how the collected insights can inform future research\, policymaking\, and industry practices. Multimodal Transport Ecosystem\nPresenter: John von Stamm (FIR at RWTH Aachen) \nJohn von Stamm kicked off the session by presenting the first results of the ReMuNet project\, which is dedicated to creating a resilient multimodal freight transport network in Europe. His key points included: \n\nUnderstanding the complex ecosystem of multimodal transport.\nCategorizing disruptive events that can impact the network.\nDeveloping an algorithm designed to avoid crisis areas and ensure smooth operations.\n\n2.
