DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, April 27th\, our partner from HANKEN School of Economics\, Dr. Sarah Schiffling participated in a session at the Production and Operations Management Society (POMS) conference\, held in Minneapolis! The session was part of the Humanitarian Operations and Crisis Management track\, focusing on “Conceptual Work in Humanitarian Logistics.” \nDr. Sarah Schiffling presented her work titled “Humanitarian Logistics: Challenges and Strategies\,” co-authored by Christine Roussat. This presentation addressed the complexities and strategic approaches essential in humanitarian logistics. \nThe POMS conference provided an excellent opportunity to connect with new colleagues and reconnect with old friends within the College of Humanitarian Operations and Crisis Management. The weekend was filled with inspiring research projects\, highlighting the close collaborations with humanitarian organizations that are central to many studies. \nThank you to the POMS community for an enriching and memorable experience. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n
