Towards Resilient and Intelligent Multimodal Transport Networks – ReMuNet and SARIL Final Event
The ReMuNet and SARIL projects will hold their final event as part of TRA 2026 in Budapest, Hungary, on 20 May 2026, from 13:00 to 17:30, at the Congress Center, ground floor, E 1 room, to bring together researchers, industry leaders, policymakers, and logistics operators in order to showcase the latest advances in resilient, adaptive, and intelligent multimodal freight transport.
ReMuNet and SARIL work closely together as they address the same challenge from complementary angles: building more resilient and sustainable logistics networks. While SARIL focuses on understanding disruptions, defining resilience indicators, and developing strategic insights through stakeholder engagement and simulation, ReMuNet translates these insights into real-time operational solutions for multimodal transport. Together, they bridge the gap between analysis and application, combining strategic knowledge with practical tools to support a more adaptive, efficient, and sustainable European freight system.
This event is an excellent opportunity to explore how digital innovation and AI are transforming European freight transport, and to engage with key stakeholders shaping a more resilient, efficient, and sustainable logistics network.
