Day 1 Highlights
The first day was marked by significant project updates and interactive workshops. FIR an der RWTH Aachen, UIRR, and Hanken shared updates from WP1, discussing their work on developing a European multimodal transport ontology and classifying disruptive events. This session provided key insights into enhancing transport resilience.
PTV Group presented on the reference model and simulation framework under WP2, leading a dynamic workshop on the duration, impact, and recovery cycle of disruptions. This workshop sparked lively discussions and generated innovative ideas to improve our understanding of transport disruptions.
FHA provided a status update on WP4, exploring reinforcement learning with practical example scenarios. Their presentation showcased cutting-edge advancements in transport technology and demonstrated the potential for future applications.
Day 2 Highlights
The second day focused on communication strategies and piloting new transport methods. White Research delivered comprehensive updates on our communication and dissemination strategies. They led a session on innovation management and exploitation planning, outlining future steps for maximizing our project’s impact.
Vediafi Oy introduced WP5, discussing the piloting of event-based multimodal relay transport in the North Sea – Baltic and Rhine – Danube corridors. This presentation highlighted the potential for transformative changes in European transport.
FIR conducted a WP3 workshop focused on developing a common understanding of the current ecosystem. This collaborative session allowed partners to ideate on the future ReMuNet platform, contributing by assigning relevant actors to the corridors in the actual ecosystem.
A heartfelt thank you to all partners for their invaluable contributions, and a special mention to Hanken for organizing such a successful and enjoyable event! Together, we are making significant strides in enhancing the resilience and efficiency of European transport networks.
