The ReMuNet consortium would like to extend its warm thanks to ALICE – ALICE, Alliance for Logistics Innovation through Collaboration in Europe for organising the ALICE Logistics Innovation Summit 2025, held on 23–24 October in Brussels. Special thanks to Fernando Liesa, Secretary General of ALICE for his leadership and excellent coordination of this event.

The Summit brought together a vibrant community of stakeholders from research, industry, and policy to explore how innovation, digitalisation, and collaboration are shaping the future of sustainable and resilient logistics in Europe. It provided a valuable opportunity for ReMuNet to connect with other EU-funded projects, exchange ideas, and build synergies within the evolving logistics innovation ecosystem.

ReMuNet was featured in Parallel Session 2B: “From data to decisions – Physical Internet and standardisation Global Forum”, moderated by Pablo Segura Yus (ALICE), where John von Stamm, ReMuNet Project Coordinator from FIR at RWTH Aachen University, presented the project’s contribution to developing data-driven, interoperable logistics solutions aligned with the Physical Internet vision. The session gathered global leaders and standardisation experts from Europe and Asia to discuss how international frameworks and ISO technical committees are enabling connected, efficient, and sustainable logistics systems worldwide.

The ALICE Logistics Innovation Summit once again proved to be an essential meeting point for Europe’s logistics community, facilitating synergies, sharing knowledge, and accelerating the transition toward a Physical Internet-driven, zero-emission and resilient transport system.

We thank ALICE and all participants for the engaging discussions and look forward to continuing our collaboration toward Europe’s next generation of logistics.
