Last week, ReMuNet held a productive workshop at the 4PL offices in Rotenburg, bringing together FIR an der RWTH, 4PL, PTV, MANSIO, and VEDIA. The discussions centered on the platform’s architecture, user journey, and initial preparations for the piloting phase. ReMuNet is developing a digital platform to improve the efficiency and resilience of multimodal freight transport. By integrating real-time data from various sources, such as infrastructure, weather, and traffic conditions, the platform helps logistics providers respond faster to disruptions and access more alternative transport routes.
To ensure seamless coordination, ReMuNet enables transparent and secure data exchange among transport stakeholders. The platform supports digital cargo handovers, automates freight document processing, and provides real-time tracking capabilities. These features enhance operational efficiency, reduce delays, and minimise administrative burdens.
Beyond efficiency, ReMuNet is committed to fostering sustainability in freight transport. By optimising route planning and promoting multimodal collaboration, the platform helps reduce emissions and fuel consumption. Additionally, it supports businesses of all sizes with user-friendly tools for transport planning, booking, and monitoring.
With its innovative approach, ReMuNet is paving the way for a smarter, more connected, and sustainable logistics network across Europe.
