As part of the EU-funded ReMuNet project, we are inviting logistics stakeholders to participate in a short survey (approx. 5 minutes) to help validate our preliminary findings.
The ReMuNet project is developing a digital platform to make multimodal freight transport more resilient, efficient, and sustainable. In the event of disruptions, the platform will suggest alternative routes, coordinate available capacities, and support rapid response and adaptation.
To help you form a well-informed opinion, please find below an overview of the key features of the planned ReMuNet platform:
- Dynamic response to disruptions and real-time routing: This includes the integration of external data sources, proactive event detection, and alternative route suggestions that take potential modeshifts into account. This ensures maximum reliability and the fastest possible adjustment of the route in the event of recognised disruptions.
- Algorithmic calculation and optimisation of multimodal transport chains: This includes the full integration of different modes of transport and takes into account individual priorities such as time, costs and CO₂ emissions.
- Processing and digital booking of transport orders: This includes automated document management and network-based collaboration between all relevant parties.
- Transparency and collaboration: Real-time tracking, status reports, communication and document exchange for all stakeholders.
We are currently designing the ReMuNet ecosystem. Specifically, we are analyzing how the business models of the involved stakeholders might change through the use of such a platform. Based on a literature review, we have formulated initial hypotheses (which do not have to be true). We would now like to validate these hypotheses through your input: In the questionnaire, we kindly ask you to indicate how likely you consider each statement from your perspective (on a scale from 1 = very unlikely to 5 = very likely).
