From 2 to 5 June 2025, the ReMuNet project took part in transport logistic (TLM) in Munich, the world’s leading trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT and supply chain management. Held at the Messe München exhibition centre, this record-breaking edition welcomed over 77,000 visitors from more than 130 countries, along with 2,722 exhibitors from 73 nations. ReMuNet was proud to be among them, presenting its vision for data-driven, multimodal transport to a global audience.
TLM 2025 provided a valuable opportunity for ReMuNet to connect directly with stakeholders from across the logistics value chain. Against the backdrop of accelerating digitalisation, rising interest in artificial intelligence, and an urgent drive for sustainability, the project highlighted its systemic approach to enhancing resilience in European freight networks. Central to this approach are seamless information exchange, coordinated planning, and intelligent re-routing across modes—key enablers of a more adaptive and efficient transport system.
The event also stood out for its strong senior-level engagement, with many decision-makers actively searching for forward-looking solutions to today’s logistics challenges. ReMuNet’s proposition—supporting freight operations under increasing pressure from volatility, climate targets and digital transformation—was met with great interest, sparking fruitful discussions on future deployment scenarios and collaborative innovation.
A particular highlight of the event was ReMuNet’s valuable exchange with its sister project SARIL, with which it shares strategic aims and a complementary research agenda. Discussions focused on coordinating results, avoiding overlaps, and identifying areas of mutual reinforcement. This collaboration continued just days later at a joint webinar held on 10 June, reinforcing the commitment of both projects to work together towards shared goals.
ReMuNet’s participation in TLM 2025 marks an important milestone in its dissemination and stakeholder engagement activities. By aligning with the fair’s core themes: digital innovation, sustainability, and system integration, ReMuNet reaffirmed its role as a forward-looking initiative that supports the future-proofing of Europe’s freight systems.
The next transport logistic will take place in Munich from 26 to 29 April 2027 and by then, ReMuNet’s solutions may already be in operational use, turning research into practice for a more connected, coordinated and climate-resilient transport ecosystem.
